Anniversary Gift Sculpture – Wing to Wing

Wing to Wing

These two House Martins are captured in bronze – held together touching and going together in the same direction.

The  title Wing to Wing  – what they are – and for the couple celebrating this also  echoes the refrain and meaning in the Poem of that name by Robert Frost.

Such a privilege to be part of this celebration and the poem inspired me to write another poem for this special couple, linking their journey with the birds, the sculpture and the inspiration of the words from Robert Frost : Sculptress Joel

  • We are so pleased with our Anniversary Gift

    We wanted something that captured our life together and celebrated our shared experiences. Our sculpture from Joel did just that, and the whole experience of choosing the bronze birds, pose and base, was lovely and made enjoyable by the time and consideration she put in – even to a surprise tea party for the unveiling
