Success and selection for Welsh Art Exhibition
I am so pleased to tell friends and followers that another of my bird sculptures has been selected for public exhibition in North Wales.
This time the delightful pair of Long Tailed Tits sitting together on a Catkin twig are flying the flag for nature at Pensychnant Conservation Centre Spring of 2025.

The Long Tailed Tit is a delightful bird, often seen in gardens in family groups and using feeding stations with other species like the Blue Tit. Their cheerful calls and round bodies with creamy pinkish and contrasting markings and distinctive long tail – make them easy to identify. Did you know they have many local and regional names and were written about by the English poet John Clare?
Bronze Birds Make for a Special Gift
There are several different combinations to give as a gift or to collect – single birds, pairs and family groups with which to celebrate.
Contact JOEL to find out what is available or to go on the waiting list for the next foundry casting schedule.
More news coming soon on new bird sculptures from JOEL – but contact her at the studio to ask about other favourite birds celebrated in bronze, and join the mailing list for Birds without Borders.
