Using combinations of reclaimed building materials, found objects and artwork we can make features for the garden or wider landscape that encourage nesting birds and provide other animals with a home.

Here is a feature at an exhibition of sculpture at the beautiful Marks Hall Gardens and Arboretum.

The Mossy topped roof covers a nest box suitable for a Wren or Robin. While the crevices, wood and other contributions make for a range of sites suitable for invertebrates and other animals to take refuge and nest.

This is a small installation suitable for any garden or space. Any size or area can be developed to include further nest spaces and complexity of stone and moss and wood.
