The white of the feathers of the underside and collar of darker with the touch of reddish orange at the throat.

The topside of the birds have a flush of dark blue, brightening in strong light. With red tone at the forehead and  white marks on the dark tail.

For bespoke installations and garden features, Joel makes the wing shapes and poses unique in the wax stage of the casting process. She then arranges the configurations and poses of the bronze birds and works on the patination choices.
