Faith – the Boy and Kite – in the making

In the progress on this scale model of a sculpture work has been done and more to do to bring the face and figure of the boy and his kite to ‘life’. 

You can see the start of the shape and character of his face. 

Do you see he has been collecting boy things in his pockets – we think the ball of string for the kite may be in one of them!

He has gym shoes with laces and, yes, socks that fall down.

This boy is to be called Faith and it is one of s series of charming sculptures of children.
