Labrador Pal
There is something about our companion dog chums and of the Labrador Pal. JOEL’s recent commission to celebrate a special birthday and capture the character of a lovely Labrador dog shows the process from the original subject to the cast bronze and selection to a big event this summer.
From Original to Exhibition

Bronze casting requires such skills to achieve – but the rich appearance, durability and fine art value of bronze is indisputable – such a rich medium in which to cast the portrait sculpture
I have had the privilege of making the portrait sculpture more than 15 Labrador dogs – and the details and character of each one – so different and distinctive.

This beautiful artwork was selected for the sculpture exhibition at Beaulieu, Hampshire this summer and it looks very fitting for the venue at Palace House.
