Sculptures Promote Nature Conservation

The Lovely bronze Wren  and new sculptures of Wren chicks have been on display at Doddington Hall in Lincolnshire. 

Called delightful and charming by visitors they have proved a source of joy and laughter. The Magnificent Seven – seven different Wren chicks sitting on a branch have been sited on the roots of a tree in the grounds of the Hall.

The Wren Chicks have been set in a unique configuration for this exhibition.

Nearby the Adult Wren captured in bronze sculpture is on a Mossy top and part of an installation to encourage invertebrates in the garden.

For an even larger installation including two nest boxes and more space for buglife check out the Robin Home Roof.

It shows the lovely bronze Robin set on a  reclaimed roof ridge tile, covering the two nestboxes and special bricks for bug,drilled timber, cones and bamboo.

The beautiful Swift in Flight Swift Wing Over Cumberland and kinetic Swallow Swallow Single Flight also draw attention to the need for conservation and preservation of nesting sites for these species.

For those who like to have a simple water feature in their garden a bronze kingfisher set on worked sandstone was selected for  the same exhibition. A special place for birds and insects to drink.
